ReplaStats exists because we think most website analytics take far more than they need. This policy is short because we collect very little.
This website
replastats.com is measured with ReplaStats itself. That means no cookies are set, no personal data is collected, and nothing is shared with anyone. We see counts — how many people read a page, roughly where in the world they were, which browser they used. We cannot identify you, and neither can we single you out across visits in a way that would let us build a profile.
Because nothing we do here requires consent, there is no cookie banner. That is the point.
What the analytics service collects
When you use ReplaStats to measure your own website, the counter script records one row per page view on our server:
- The page address, page title and where the visit came from
- Country, and sometimes region or city, derived from the IP address
- Browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language
- The time of the visit
The IP address is used to work out the country and is then discarded. It is never written to the database. No cookie is set, no identifier is stored in the visitor’s browser, and nothing is cross-referenced with any other site.
Session replays and heatmaps
Customers on a paid plan can switch on session replay, which records how a visitor moved through a page. This is off by default and is a per-website setting, not an account-wide one.
If you turn replays on, you become responsible for what they capture. Replays record interaction with your pages. Text typed into form fields is not recorded, but you should still avoid running replays on pages that display personal or financial information, and you should say so in your own privacy policy.
Who the data belongs to
If you are a ReplaStats customer, the visitor data collected for your websites is yours. We hold it for you and do not use it for anything else. We do not sell it, share it, mine it, or use it to train anything. If you leave, you can take it with you.
In data protection terms: for your visitors’ data you are the controller and we are the processor. For your own account details — your email address and what you pay — we are the controller.
How long it is kept
Each plan keeps a rolling window of history. Older data is deleted automatically, every night.
| Plan | History kept |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 months |
| Starter | 12 months |
| Pro | 3 years |
| Agency | 5 years |
If you move to a smaller plan, we keep your old window for a further thirty days so you have time to export, and we tell you before it changes.
Where it is stored, and who else touches it
ReplaStats is a product of Tradiant, a company registered in Georgia. Everything runs on a single server we rent and administer ourselves. Your analytics data is not sent to any third-party analytics company, because we are not one.
| Who | What for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | The server the service runs on | They host the machine; they do not process your data on our behalf |
| Stripe | Card payments | Your billing details. We never see your card number |
Your account
To run your account we hold your name, your email address, and a record of what you have paid. We email you a weekly summary if your plan includes one; you can stop that by replying and asking.
What you can ask us to do
Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@replastats.com and we will answer within a few days. If you close your account, your websites and their data are deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email customers rather than quietly updating the page.
Questions about any of this go to hello@replastats.com. A real person reads it.
